Filmustage Raises $1.5 Million in Seed Funding to Power Film Pre-Production with AI

At Filmustage, we're pleased to share that we’ve raised $1.5 million in seed funding! This round was led by the forward-thinking team at Raw Ventures, with solid support from Geek Ventures and other visionary investors.

This isn’t just a financial boost for us — it’s a clear signal that we’re on the right path to transforming film pre-production, making the process smarter, faster, and more precise than ever before.

Alexey Skobelkin, CPO at Raw Ventures, explained their decision to invest:

"We invested in Filmustage after their attendance in the finals of our investment program Global MediaTech Pitch Day, where they stood out among 400 applicants. The main reason we invested is due to the pragmatic and efficient approach by which the company's product successfully integrates advanced AI developments, such as ChatGPT and Gemini, into the production processes of the film industry without competing with them.

Meanwhile, the team is developing their own specialized and unique AI model for working with scripts and production plans, which ensures the product's practical efficiency. We see the product market fit, the team's focus and concentration, and we want to support scaling both financially and with our industry expertise."

Today, we’re proud to say that our AI-driven platform accomplishes just that. By automating script breakdowns, analysis, scheduling, and more, we’re reducing the workload for production teams by up to 90%. And it’s not just about speed — we’re also enhancing accuracy, making it six times more precise!

By August 2024, we surpassed 15,000 registrations, reflecting the trust and enthusiasm of our users. Filmustage continues to work on reducing budget risks and ensuring efficient resource management for film production studios. The investment will be used to acquire new B2B clients, including Tier-1 clients, and expand our AI capabilities to cover even more aspects of pre-production and post-production, including AI-based budget estimation, AI-based storyboards, and marketplace & Omniverse integrations.
